My Amazing New Skin Care!!! =D

August 28th, 2007 by yunachan

As far as I can remember, I have been wearing make-up for the past  12 years.

At first - I just wanted to cover my pimple marks
As I grow older - I have to cover my dark eye rings
Just recently - I absolutely look awful without make-up!!!! Besides my pimple marks and eye-bag, I have very dull & yellowish skin plus dark eye rings. =(

A
couple of months ago, I met up with my sec sch friend who is currently
working for SQ  (whose complexion is  worse than mine).  I was amazed
by how complexion has improved since I saw her 1 year ago.  Her
complexion was so good that she didn’t put on any make-up, not even
concealer  to cover her dark eye rings because she has none now!!!!

So I tried this product and this is the result that I get after using for 3 weeks =D

After 3 Weeks

ME without make up for both pics
Right pic:  I only apply mascara & draw my eyebrow
I love the pinkish glow on my skin.  The last time I had this glow was during Sec Sch.

I
always have frequent outbreaks of big and painful pimples along my
lower cheek and jaw area.  Now, The big pimples has subsided and my red
pimple marks are slowly lightening just after 3 weeks!!!

I
am soooo happy with the result.  For the past few days, I went out
without applying my usual concealer, foundation and loose powder. The
best part is I save a lot of time by not applying make-up.  I used to
spend 20 mins to apply my make-up.  Now I don’t need to do that
anymore!!!!

It feels great  to look good without putting on layers of make-up like what I used to do for the past 12 years!!!!

I will be back on 11 May 2006

Good new!!! My boss said I can go back in early May instead of late May as planned earlier. I am so busy for the past 2 months that I don’t even have the energy to update my blog. @@

It’s Springtime!!!!  Really love the sunny and cool weather here…  The walking street is so full of life now with lots of people walking around eating ice-cream or people just sitting at the outdoor cafe (it has to be) under the sun for a drink.

People who knows me will know that I usually avoid the sun as best as I can in Singapore.  But i like the fact that you can walk in such a bright sunny day without sweating… I am certainly gonna miss such a nice cool weather when I am back home.

In Germany, there’ll be lots of party before the 1st of May, hehehhe must really have a great time before I come back because all my friends ‘lau liao’ so they don’t party anymore back home. heheh =P

Ok lah time to go and sleep….see all of you real soon!!! \(^o^}/

Back in FRA again!

Acutally I am in Europe for 3 weeks liao.  Was really busy ever since I arrived.  I went to Netherlands last week to meet some clients and had a pretty tight schedule travelling by train within Netherlands last week. Now I train expert in Netherlands and Germany. Wahahahah!!!  I went to Amsterdam, Rotterdam and some ‘oulu’ town like Tilburg, Zootermeer, Niewerkrek.  This week I  came back to office, busy writing reports and doing quotations.

I need a break… Thank God Easter is coming. =D  My colleague Sue-Chan and I are planning to go Berlin during Easter. Can’t wait to go!!!=P

I am gonna stay for 3 months for this trip.  Let’s see what other territory in Germany and other parts of Europe I can conquer.  Ok, back to work. @@

Going back in 2 wks time =D

December 8th, 2005 by yunachan

Hihi, it’s been a long time since I update my blog, have been really busy with work and travelling all over Germany to meet up clients. I really appreciate that we can go to anywhere we want within 15-30mins back home… I have a little phobia of big countries o.0  I sat in the train until my buttock wanna ‘pee cha’ already. Ohh i also went to Dijon in France and Wursburg for sight-seeing too..  Needless to say, sight-seeing in Europe is fantastic due to its rich culture and very old history… =P

Ohhh and it snowed 2 weeks ago, plus the beginning of the X’mas market started end of last month, I could really feel the festive atmosphere in the air.. =D  There’s lots of christmas goodies sold here that I have not seen before.. Ohhh and I tried the Gluwein, it’s soo ooishii.  It’s a kind of hot grape wine that is only sold during winter. Drinking this will warm you instantly on a cold winter shopping or sight-seeing nite.  I heard that they also sell honey wine, will try it tonite =D……

I will be home in 2 weeks time, can’t wait to go back to celebrate Xmas and my bdae with my family and friends, but not sure if I could survive the heat back home (~.~);

Movies & Germans

November 9th, 2005 by yunachan

Like Singapore, Tuesday is the’cheapest day’ to watch movies in Frankfurt.  The English-film cinema is very nicely furnished, but very small though. It has 6 rows and it’s free sitting. =P Luckily there weren’t many people watching movie. =P

From my observation, Germans keep rather ‘introverted’ compared to the Americans but they are very helpful and friendly. =D  In the office building, people who don’t know me will greet me good morning or hello. This happens with my neighbours too. =P

Twice I witnessed someone fainting on the street and fell down at the foot of the escalator, people will rush to help them up and asked them if they need help.  Basically showed genuine concern for the strangers whom they helped.  This again I find is seriously lacking back home….

Today, I was trying to purchase a top-up phone card from the machine.  I approached a gentleman, he said he don’t know how to use the machine but he’ll still try to help me.  Isn’t that very nice? =D

Erractic Weather and movie =D

November 8th, 2005 by yunachan

Hmmm… yesterday was rather cold 5 degree, today is bright and sunny with warmer temperature 12 degree.  I was perspiring this morning wearing my supper power bubble jacket and my scarf. @@  Nevertheless, it’s very rare to be warm again, will enjoy the warm weather while it last before winter really hit us. o.0

Today, I’m gonna watch Elizabeth Town with my colleague Sue-chan at an English Cinema in town.  Heee never watched movie in Frankfurt before, will let you know more about it tomorrow… tata~ =D

Life in Frankfurt

November 7th, 2005 by yunachan

It’s week 3 in Frankfurt.  The weather is starting to get a little too cold for my current non-wool jacket.  Time to wear my supper power bubble jacket. =D

Went shopping last sat at Haupwache (walking street).  Shopped for 3 hours and leg aching….  Bought some clothes at H & M. =P  It’s been a looong loong time since I shopped in H&M.  It was my favourite during my flying days…  I am glad I have a chance to shop there again. \(^o^)/

Last week, my brother’s pilot colleague came to Frankfurt and brought me around town to look at the touristy area, and showed me where are some of the grocery shops located other than the supermarket.  That day, there was sort of a wine/food fair.  Everybody was standing or sitting around eating or drinking. Plus the weather was really great that day.. Not too cold.. just nice to eat outdoors.. I had pork cutlet with anions =D…. and i drink their sweet sparkling wine.  ohhh it’s really very nice oh. =D

I am beginning to like this place, used to think that it’s a boring place.  And so far the Apple wine,  German Reisling and sparkling wine I tried here is very oiiishi too….

Next time I’ll try the red wine and let you know. =D

1st week in Frankfurt

October 31st, 2005 by yunachan

How time flies.  I am in Frankfurt for a week already. =D  Life is great here.  The people here are friendly and environmental conscious - which Asia is seriously lacking.

Last week, I went to Rudesheim.  A charming little town with vineyard, forest trials and of course shops and restaurants. =D  In the restaurants, I get to see old couple dancing along with the life band music.  They looked so happy and loving.  I hope to be like them when i grow old =D

The weather is bright and sunny  with air-conditioned temperature for the past 1 week.  The locals said it’s unusual cos it’s usually cloudy, grey and very  much colder at this time of the yr.  Yesterday, we just switched our clock back 1 hour for daylight saving. =P

Today, weather it still bright and sunny.  But it’s starting to get colder…. looks like the beginning of winter is coming…..=D
